Further details revealed about Bunnie XO and Jelly Roll split in divorce petition
New details have been revealed after Jelly Roll’s shock divorce filing from wife Bunnie XO, a decade after getting together.
The Son of A Sinner hitmaker, real name Jason Bradley DeFord, filed a petition to separate from his other half, per court documents obtained by TMZ.
The decision to split comes four months after Jelly Roll and Bunny XO attended the 2026 Grammy Awards, where he won the Best Contemporary Country Album title and thanked his wife in his speech.
But now, the singer and Bunnie - real name Alisa DeFord – have called it quits, and the reason has been put down on paper.

According to new legal documents, again obtained by TMZ, the country singer listed ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.
This is typically stated when a couple believes mediation wouldn't work and they are unable to overcome their problems, according to Osbornes Law.
Per the outlet, he filed on 18 May, and disclosed the pair had split on 9 May, with lawyer Rose Palermo handing in the paperwork.
Despite the pair having always been open and public about their relationship problems, this time, neither have issued a statement.
Last year, the singer opened up about having cheated on his wife, noting that it made them ‘stronger’.
“I don't talk about this publicly at all, but one of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife,” he said on the Human School podcast.
“Because it was the first time that I was like, ‘I really can’t get this right at all. I know I’m in love with this woman.’ It just really, really, really blew me back."
He added: “And I wish our story would have went in the way that it never had an affair. And I'm in no way glad it happened, but man, I'm proud of who we are today."
For her part, Bunnie explained why she stayed with him afterwards.
When a fan asked her why she hadn't ended the relationship, she told them: "It actually takes a stronger woman to face pain head-on, do the work, and rebuild with the man she loves — instead of running or gossiping.
"Growth isn’t weakness, it’s grace."
Since the divorce filing, even though she has stayed silent on the cause, Bunny did post a NSFW picture of herself with the caption saying she was 'getting her sparkle back' in light of the news coming out.
