Tenacious D are recording a new song for Kung Fu Panda 4.
While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jack Black revealed that he and Kyle Gass have teamed up again for the upcoming animated flick.
When asked if the Grammy-winning duo was cooking up anything, the actor replied: “We’ve been working on a couple of things.

"I got a new Kung Fu Panda coming out next year, and they asked if we would do a song for the credits.”
Not bad, considering the song he devised a song for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which helped level up its box office success earlier this year.
In the film, Black voiced Bowser, who wants to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom by marrying Princess Peach, who is voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy.

He lent his stunning vocals to sing about his unrequited love for Peach and released a music video of him donning a shimmery green suit and a Koopa dragon evil lair mullet.
I mean, pretty spectacular.
“They had this idea late, late in the game, ‘What if Bowser sings a song?’” He told the outlet.

“We fleshed it out and made it more of a song with more lyrics and melody and stuff. And I was like, ‘Ooh, this hits, this slaps. I bet you they won’t want to use this because it’s a little too deeply emotional,’” he added.
“It stops being a little family cartoon for a second. It felt like it went into some other realm of deep, painful love that [Bowser will] never have — this deep yearning. It’s too real.”
The song, 'Peaches', went viral on TikTok and peaked at No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100.
So it’s only fitting he begins working on another song for an animated flick.

We wouldn’t be surprised if ‘Peaches’ wins ‘Best Original Song’ at the Academy Awards.
