Netflix have released the trailer for the second part of its most expensive film of the year.

Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire landed on the streaming site on Friday (22 December).

Part Two: The Scargiver will release next year. Watch the trailer here:

The second part of the Netflix film is due to hit the site on 19 April 2024.

The synopsis for the new movie reads: "Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld.

"On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made."

According to Vanity Fair, the first part is estimated to have cost a whopping $166million (£130million) to make, and features stars Charlie Hunnam, Sofia Boutella, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Skrein and Fra Fee.

Although, some Netflix viewers did have complaints about The Gentlemen star Hunnam's accent in the movie.
