Nick Cannon Welcomes His Eighth Child

Nick Cannon Welcomes His Eighth Child

Model Bre Tiesi revealed on Instagram that she'd recently given birth to the pair's son.

Nick Cannon has welcomed his eighth child into the world after model Bre Tiesi confirmed that she had given birth at home to a son.

In an Instagram post, Tiesi revealed the news and said that the TV host and rapper had been there every step of the way during the birth.

"I did it. An all natural unmedicated home birth. This was the most humbling/limit pushing yet awakening and completely empowering experience," Tiesi wrote on Instagram.

"I can’t thank my team enough for delivering my son safely.

"This experience has changed me forever and I couldn’t of asked for a more amazing and supportive partner. Daddy showed the f up for us.. I couldn’t of done it without you."

She also encouraged fans to check out her YouTube channel if they’re interested in watching a full birth vlog and to get more information on her journey.

Bre Tiesi is the fifth woman to have fathered Nick Cannon's children.

For those keeping score, Cannon now has twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, along with a four-year-old named Golden Sagon and a one-year-old called Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell.

In addition, he is also father to seven-month-old twins, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa.

Tragically, though, the TV host lost Zen, the five-month-old son he shared with Alyssa Scott, died from a brain tumour in November last year.

It meant that he and Tiesi had actually known for a while that the latter was pregnant before they announced it, having wanted to hold back on the news in respect to Ze's passing. However, the pair held a gender reveal party at the beginning of the year, after which the 41-year-old said he was going to be come celibate for a while.

On an episode of The Nick Cannon Show he'd said that his life was 'out of control' and he needed to reign in his behaviour.

"My therapist was one of the [people] who said that I should probably be celibate because I had shared that news, that Bre was pregnant," the Wild 'n Out star explained.

Meanwhile, when asked during an appearance on the Dink Champs podcast around the same time, about whether he broke his celibacy in getting Bre pregnant he politely hit back by saying the journey began when he first found out she had a baby.

"So for anybody who's thinking: 'Oh he wasn't celibate,' I was!" he explained on the talk show.

He added: "That was the reason why I started my celibacy journey back then. I was [celibate] because I was dealing with [this].

"Honestly, the celibacy did help me through the journey of getting one with myself and dealing with this."

However, he's likely to have to face the same line of questioning all over again, after TMZ reported in June that he's also expecting his ninth child. This one once again with Alyssa Scott.

That's a lot of birthdays to remember.
