Pedro Pascal has never starred in a single TV show that has a score on Rotten Tomatoes that is lower than 89 percent ‘fresh’. Here's the trailer for his latest show, the massive adaptation of The Last of Us.

In case you’re unaware, Rotten Tomatoes is a popular review aggregator website that compiles people’s thoughts about movies and TV shows in order to give them a rating based on actual reviews and reviews from ordinary viewers.

Those scores are usually a pretty good indicator of how the show is generally viewed, and can be either a great achievement if it gets a high score or a damning indictment if not.

As we know, in this day and age people don’t just watch whatever is on, there is a bit of research that usually goes into selecting something to watch.

Well, if you know that Pedro Pascal has a starring role in any of the shows you’re considering, you can be pretty certain that it will have a good rating on Rotten Tomatoes, because they’re all hovering around the 90 percent positive mark.

So, you’ll probably know that Pascal is currently starring in the huge blockbuster series The Last of Us alongside Bella Ramsey.

The first episode has only been aired in the past couple of days, but it has a 99 percent rating on the website.

Then, he was also the titular character in Disney’s The Mandalorian, which has an incredible 93 percent rating across the two seasons.

Pascal was also a key character in Narcos, a gritty tale of drug dealing and treachery set in Colombia.

The first two seasons told the story of Pablo Escobar, and Pascal played one of the DEA agents tasked with bringing the notorious cartel kingpin down.

That show currently boasts a rating of 89 percent ‘fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes.

Then, we come to arguably the most famous show that Pascal has played a major part in.

You might be surprised to learn that Game of Thrones is the lowest rated of all of Pascal’s shows.

Well, the ones that he’s been a significant character in anyway, because there are a few that have lower ratings in which he’s listed as a guest star or only participated for a short time.

Now, the rating for GoT might have taken something of a hit following the final two seasons, given that not everyone was so happy about how things wound up.

We all remember how his stint on Game of Thrones ended.

It’s often forgotten how good the show had been up until that point, with Pascal playing Prince Oberyn of Dorne for seven episodes until he died during one of the show’s most shocking moments at the hands of The Mountain.

Anyway, his role in The Last of Us is already drawing praise, with some even tipping him for an Emmy after just one episode.

One fan said: “Give Pedro Pascal that Emmy now!”

Another watched the show and commented: “PEDRO PASCAL SECURING THAT EMMY AS WE SPEAK.”

The Last of Us episode one is available to watch on Sky Atlantic and Now TV right now. New episodes will broadcast in the UK at 9:00pm every Monday.
