Irish presenter and singer Ronan Keating has had an interesting start to the week, as it was revealed over the weekend his son, Jack Keating, will be joining the throng of singles looking for love on ITV 2’s magnum opus, Love Island

Jack, who is batting against Gemma Owen for Love Island’s most-notable-dad award, began his Love Island journey in Casa Amor this week with five other hopefuls.

On his son’s entrance into the villa, the ex-boybander spoke to MailOnline, admitting he’s ‘nervous as hell’, but ‘excited for him though’.

According to Celebworth.net, Ronan Keating has an estimated net worth of $28.8 Million, as of 2022.

The website also reports that the singer earns around $4.8 Million per year from multiple projects.

Breaking into pop in the early nineties, Keating was one of the founding members of Irish boy band Boyzone, which quickly found success with their chart-topping debut album Said and Done in 1995.

Their chart performance remained steady, with their second album A Different Beat bringing them global recognition the following year, all the way to their hiatus in 2001.

Keating was one of the first members to find success as a solo artist, with his cover of When You Say Nothing at All making its way into the film Notting Hill before the band even announced their separation.

He had similar luck with his first solo album, Ronan (2000), which debuted at number one in the UK, and his 2001 hit single The Long Goodbye

Making an appearance on Children in Need, the members of Boyzone reunited in 2007, and have worked together on a handful of projects since, including their 25th Anniversary album Thank You & Goodnight, released in 2018.

Alongside music, Keating has gained success as a TV and radio presenter.

Earning his first stint in front of the camera in 1997, presenting Eurovision, he has since delivered the MTV Europe Music Awards (1997 and 1999), judged on the Australian X-Factor (2010-2015), and now stands as a main presenter on BBC 1’s The One Show.

When he’s not jetting his eldest off to Mallorca, Keating also hosts Magic Breakfast on weekdays for Magic Radio.

Now based in London, the singer lives with his wife Storm (40) and their two children, Cooper (5) and Coco (2).

Their house, complete with a tennis court and swimming pool, is shared with fans via their Instagram page, @thekeatingshouse, where the family are documenting their renovation and life at home.
