Terrifier 2 follows the story of Art the Clown as he haunts a teenage girl and her brother on Halloween.

Parts of the film are said to feature many gory and violent scenes, some of which led to cinemas having to ring emergency services for people that have become unwell while watching.

Andrew Liming took to Twitter after watching the film with his friend, he said: "#Terrifier2 my friend passed out and the theater called an ambulance. Highly recommended."

The Twitter user accompanied the caption with a picture of his friend receiving medical attention from paramedics in the cinema.

Another person took to Twitter to share similar story, they said: "Just saw Terrifier 2. It was an amazing gory mess. The guy behind me passed out cold n crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good, I overheard him say and walking out theatre door I heard a guy puking hard & loud in the bathroom."

Despite some people seemingly passing out from watching the film, many fans have enjoyed the sequel to the original 2016 film.

One fan said: "Terrifier 2 is now in theatres and it’s likely the bloodiest, bonkers, most brutal horror flick you’ll see all year.

"An epic 2.5 hours of gory mayhem that annihilates boundaries.

"If you were a fan of the first film, don’t miss your chance to see this on the big screen."

Despite its gory elements, fans are loving Terrifier 2 for the most part.

A second fan was equally in love: "Terrifier 2 you have truly outdone yourself. So much chaos. So much camp. 2022 has been solidified as the greatest year in horror movie history."

Producers of the film have warned fans of how gory Terrifier 2 can be, with one of its producers, Steve Barton, taking to Twitter to say: "This movie contains scenes of graphic violence and brutal depictions of horror.

"Viewers who are faint of heart, prone to light headedness or have weak stomachs are advised to take extreme caution.
