Will there be a Legend of Zelda series on Netflix?

Gamers were hopeful for a Legend of Zelda adaptation and digital art released by Dan Leveille has given fans even more hope.

Netflix has made a multitude of series based on video games and had plans to delve into the industry deeper in 2022.

One of Netflix’s most popular series The Witcher was also based on a video game.

Gamers were hopeful for a Legend of Zelda adaptation and digital art released by Dan Leveille has given fans even more hope.

Leveille used various AI technologies to create the full cast of a fake, and we must clarify that, series of the Legend of Zelda on Netflix.

Who has he cast?

Leveille’s (fake!) castings are as follows:

  • Tom Holland as Link
  • Emma Watson as Zelda
  • Idris Elba as Ganondorf
  • Danny DeVito as Tingle

It looks pretty perfect to us!

The artwork has started a lot of conversations, and maybe it could be true that the AI creations will spark Netflix to consider a real series.

Leveille’s Instagram page is full of other AI art, including other versions of the character Link, as well as fan favourite versions of Super Mario characters.

However, Leveille has not stopped here with his creations!

He took it one step further and had a script written to go with his artwork!

The art he created for the Legend of Zelda is far less unsettling than some of his others.

He created characters that showed what The Simpsons would look like in real life, we’ll let your imagination run wild with that one…

Will the Legend of Zelda be on Netflix?

Netflix was in fact developing the series back in 2015, but Nintendo pulled the plug on the live-action series due to aspects being leaked.

Whether there will be an adaptation of the game is a question that we can’t yet answer, but the AI images are definitely something to keep us going!
