Watching your favourite TV show can bring a lot of entertainment, calmness or even frustration.

Especially if you’re a fan of quiz shows.

But fans of ITV's The 1% Club have found themselves in a baffled state after noticing an ‘error’ in one of the questions.

Of course, anything that’s hosted by comedian Lee Mack is going to be great fun as he attempts to find the smarted one percent group in Britain who can crack the final question in just 30 seconds.

But people are wracking their heads after a simple question on the show turned their brains upside down as they realised it had multiple ways of being answered.

As soon as the quiz begins, it seems like it’ll be pretty easy - and initially, it is.

It starts off with most people being able to crack the first question before it whittles down the group to the one percent with increasingly hard questions.

But this week proved to be different as the question asked to the 30 percent group was harder than expected.

The question read: "Amrit and his grandad share the same birthday. Their birthday balloons arrive muddled up. Amrit's grandad is three times older than him. How old is Amrit?”

It then showed four balloons: 6872.

The response was that his grandad was 72, making Amrit 26.

But there were those at home who also cracked the question with different answers.

Someone contacted the show’s Instagram account and wrote: "My other half is adamant that his answer of 29 is also right.

"There's no string on those balloons, therefore you could turn the 6 upside down. 3x29=87 What do you reckon? Was he still in, or was he out of the game?”

X users were all over this under the comments of the question which was also posted to The 1% Club’s account.

Someone else said: “Could've been 2 answers which is odd...flip the 6 round to a 9 and could've been 29 and 87.”

Another surmised: “It could also be 29 ie one third of 87? If I had put that in the studio I would expect to Appeal!!! Previous questions have used balloons to switch 6 and 9s!!!”

Someone else suggested to the show: “Hmm they should've drawn strings on the bottoms of the balloons if they wanted to avoid people turning the 6 upside down for 29 and 87.”

What do you think?
