You have two weeks to watch some of your favourite shows before major change to viewing experience

A major change is coming that will alter the way that you watch some of your favourite TV shows

We all love a good binge watch don't we?

Sitting in on a Sunday with your feet up, your favourite show on TV and relaxing without a care in the world.

Well, best to enjoy it while it lasts as the way you watch some of your favourite TV series is all about to change.

One of the largest streaming platforms is about to go through a major change, and people are not pleased.

Amazon Prime Video is home to several hit shows, such as The Boys, Invincible, Reacher and Jack Ryan to name but a few.

The platform is set to undergo its changes in early February - so for all the eager fans waiting for the newest seasons of their beloved shows, this may affect you.

While a release date for Season 4 of The Boys is yet to be announced, part 2 of Season 2 of Invincible has been announced for mid-March and Season 3 of Reacher has been confirmed.

Basically, a lot of good shows are still set to return despite these changes.

The Boys is one of the most watched shows on Amazon Prime Video.

Starting from 5 February, customers in the UK and Germany will have to pay an additional £2.99 a month to enjoy Prime Video without adverts.

That's right, more adverts on paid streaming platforms.

We thought it would only be Netflix making this step, but it looks like Amazon are also following suit and adding adverts to their service.

The company emailed customers with an explanation, saying the measures were to ensure that they could continue investing in 'compelling content' over a longer period of time.

They added: "We aim to have meaningfully fewer ads than linear TV and other streaming TV providers.”

Reacher is another hit Amazon Prime show that will be affected by the new measures put in place.

Unfortunately for those in the US and Canada, the changes are coming on 29 January, leaving viewers little time to binge.

But you know what they say, if you put your mind to it...

And Amazon Prime customers all over the world have voiced their annoyance at the changes on X (formerly known as Twitter).

One said: "Time to cancel Amazon prime lol why the f**k am I getting ads when I am paying $100+ a year for it"

Another user shared: "Finished part 1 of lupin the third only to realize amazon prime is adding ads to their shows and movies :("

A third added: "These Amazon prime video ads so annoying. Like I pay for prime, is that not enough?"

But there is still time to watch all the latest episodes of the biggest Prime shows before the changes take effect, so it's better to be quick.
