Further details about why Big Brother gave housemate George Gilbert the boot have been reported.
Brits tuning into the ITV reality show have been left stunned by this week's shock developments, which culminated in the 23-year-old being shown the door.
Gilbert had managed to rub a number of his housemates up the wrong way during his short time in the house, and he was up for eviction this week after being nominated by over half of his housemates.
The Essex-born actor was quite a controversial character who repeatedly got into heated debates with his fellow contestants, and he received multiple warnings from Big Brother.

Fans of the popular TV series were informed that Gilbert was being ejected from the house with 'immediate effect' for his use of 'unacceptable language'.

And according to The Sun, Gilbert was ousted on the grounds that he had allegedly made a comment which 'could be interpreted as antisemitic'.
“Everyone was absolutely disgusted," a source claimed. "Nobody could believe what he said - he was clearly out to shock people."
His comments wouldn't be included in the episode due to broadcasting standard violations.

One of these warnings he'd received from Big Brother came after Gilbert mocked the hand gestures and voice of 27-year-old LGBTQ+ rights activist Sam Ashby.
Gilbert - who still featured in last night's episode of Big Brother - apologised for his behaviour towards Ashby and said he 'didn't want to make anyone feel like that'.
News then broke that the 23-year-old had been kicked out of the house amid concerns over his conduct.
An ITV spokesperson said: "Following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme."
In a statement shared on Wednesday (8 October), Gilbert admitted that he 'went too far' by 'crossing the line too many times'.

"As a flag-bearer of freedom of speech, I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be," he said.

"Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective. And I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times.
"It is a shame that a specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me."
The broadcaster expanded on their original statement to the Tab, explaining that Gilbert was 'given several warnings for unacceptable language' but these scenes did not air.

"Most were not broadcast as the language used was contrary to broadcast standards, but one was seen during Monday’s episode of Big Brother," a statement said.
"Before entering the Big Brother House, the rules regarding language and behaviour are explained to all Housemates and they receive training in respect, dignity and inclusion. Friday’s eviction will continue as planned."
