Celebrity Traitors star Ross Kemp had an incredible reaction to correctly guessing that Richard E Grant was a Traitor.
If you saw the first episode of the new series, you’ll probably know that Grant didn’t exactly create an air of mystery about himself after being chosen to be a Traitor alongside Love Island host Maya Jama.
When comedian Joe Lycett began questioning his fellow celebs about whether they were a Traitor or a Faithful, Grant grinned and quickly replied: “Traitor.”

He then added: “What’s the point in being in the game if you’re not one?”
Yeah, fair enough.
Grant has since admitted that outing himself within minutes wasn’t his smartest move, branding it a ‘completely catastrophically idiotic’ mistake and one that definitely led to his downfall so soon into the series.

Because, as you might have suspected, when the time came to try and determine who amongst the ranks was a Traitor it didn’t require too much guesswork from the celebrities, and Grant was banished by a landslide 16 out of 20 votes, with even his fellow Traitors Jama and James Acaster turning on him.
Speaking after being booted out, Grant admitted that due to his gaff he had ‘expected’ the Round Table to go the way it did and that he wasn’t ‘surprised’.
“I had botched the role so staggeringly by saying ‘I am a Traitor,’” he said.
Nonetheless, former EastEnders star Kemp was clearly chuffed that he’d been able to spot the Traitor and celebrated by clenching his fists and shouting: “Come on! Get in there!” in scenes reminiscent of his reaction to Jude Bellingham scoring a screamer in the World Cup.
Contestants James Blunt and Hannah Fry, who were each sitting beside Kemp, looked slightly bewildered by the reaction but viewers at home absolutely loved it and hailed the star as a 'legend'.
Sharing the clip, one fan wrote: “Ross Kemp is absolute gold.”
Someone else said: “Please give whoever booked Ross Kemp for this a raise.”
While a third commented: “Another day, another 10/10 Ross Kemp moment.”
“I don’t care that Richard has gone after seeing Ross Kemp’s reaction. He is comedy GOLD,” another viewer said.
Kemp has already kept viewers thoroughly entertained with extremely paranoid behaviour throughout the first couple of episodes.
You’d think the TV hard man would feel at ease around a bunch of people who may be out to get him, but that did not turn out to be the case as he jumped and jittered his way around the castle assuming everyone was out to get him.
Even Prince William made a joke about it during a recent appearance with Kemp in Somerset for the launch of National Emergencies Trust project Ready Together.
After heading over to shake hands with Kemp, the future-King placed his arm on the actor’s shoulder and seemed to reference his appearance on the show, quipping: “Am I allowed to touch you there?”
To which Kemp replied: “Yeah, I’m not going to freak out, not today.”
