The Celebrity Traitors finale is fast approaching but while the traitors might be remaining calm on screen, James Acaster's most recent insight suggests that things were pretty stressful behind the scenes.
After almost leaving in the first episode due to his suspicions over Richard E Grant, the comedian has eventually accepted his new role as a traitor, perhaps by just playing the game as the faithful that he wanted to be.
Alongside Maya Jama and King Kenny, the trio look to be in an extremely strong position ahead of Friday's final, especially after they were selected as the three most trustworthy in last week's episode, which ended on a cliffhanger as we wait to find out whether Sharon or Joanne will be the next faithful banished.
But while the Celebrity Traitors might not seem to have the same levels of drama as the civilian version, Acaster's recent revelation just goes to show that the stars of our screens do feel the tension and pressure just as much as anyone else who plays the much-loved game.

He said: "So you walk in silence down the corridor, and then you walk in, and then you all sit down. And then they don't announce it's gonna happen. So the first time - this completely blindsides you, but they do it every single roundtable - is they play that song from Hunger Games, that [coming to] the tree song. Like a cappella, Jennifer Lawrence. And you're all sat there, and the camera goes in the middle and does that. When sometimes you see the shots before the round table, and it's like a panning shot of everyone's serious face. You're having to sit there like that while it does the, coming to the tree. It's the only song we heard the whole time we were in there."

The protest and folk song might seem like a strange choice at first but the tension it creates in the films are sure to have a similar effect before the crucial round tables, which have already seen plenty of drama throughout the series.
We've seen traitors and faithfuls turn on each other and the first use of the dagger power which gave Kenny two votes, but we might never get a final moment like we did with Harry's win in the second season of the public version.
Although he's been very much an unwilling traitor so far, particularly in the recent challenge where the traitors were asked to sabotage other contestants, the 41-year-old could well be the next comedian to win the series, after Alan Carr's unlikely but solo victory as traitor in the first season of the show.
The next episode of the Celebrity Traitors airs at 8pm on Thursday 29 October on BBC One and iPlayer.
