Having left us on the cliffhanger of the murderous game of hide and seek last week, The Celebrity Traitors has wiped out another Faithful.
Traitors Maya Jama, Hannah Fry and James Acaster had picked out Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp and Rob Beckett as possible victims.
And the four Faithful decided it would be the Little Mix singer who had the sacred key to protect her from murder – luckily, she didn’t even need it and this could’ve been a big mistake.

Despite Ranganathan being the ‘obvious choice’ of the three, the Traitors decided to cut Beckett‘s time short on the show. The Faithful could've played this smarter and as Fry has pointed out, it's worked in her favour.

Leigh-Anne and the key
Even Kemp acknowledged at breakfast that it could've easily been suspected that Pinnock would have ended up with the key. Yeah, very obvious mate.
Look, it was a huge error for them to give it to her, with the statistics putting it as an obvious move that the three men would take the chivalrous route and give it to the woman.
That's something that maths whizz Fry would know all too well. And they even spoke about it in the reasoning, they didn't want to attempt to murder Pinnock as they suspected she would indeed have the key.
Whereas if one of the blokes had actually taken it, they'd have had a far better chance of coming on top instead of playing into their hands. They were doomed the moment they gave Pinnock that key - the Traitors would never have gone for her.

And as Fry said, it's worked out perfectly. Blame has somehow shifted onto kept and taken some of the 'heat' off her before the Round Table later.
It could even end up moving onto Ranganathan too. that's as the pair are a pretty established duo, so the Faithful might think he's pulling a bit of a double bluff.
So not only have the Traitor taken out a Faithful, but they've put heat onto two more of them.
"A classic chaos murder," as Acaster so beautifully put it.

Why Romesh was the 'obvious choice'
There's no denying taking out Beckett has worked well for the Traitors right now as it's shifted so much heat onto Kemp and even somehow has some of them doubting their suspicions of Fry.
But viewers previously suggested his other professional half, Ranganathan, could have been the best choice.
In the last episode of The Celebrity Traitors the faithful took another misstep and sent home Julie Hesmondhalgh just a few episodes after collectively voting her the ‘most trustworthy’.
The most convincing argument against this however came from Romesh, with one popular comment on Reddit under a thread discussing the episode saying: “What a dramatically brilliant point about Julie when they said we were told to pick the most faithful person to show just what the game does to us - it's only round table number 3 and we're wanting to banish them.”
And fans reckon he's quite a key Faithful. Some have called him one of the 'best analytical minds left' bar Fry.
"Romesh regularly says incredibly insightful things at the roundtable and looks at things from interesting angles. I think he'll get killed in the hide-and-seek for it, and he's where I would have put the shield," one wrote.
