Warning: This article contains spoilers for Celebrity Traitors season two
It’s a Friday night and there’s nowhere else we’d all rather be than watching telly with what feels like the rest of the UK, right?
And with tonight’s (9 October) episode of The Celebrity Traitors kicking off with a divisive murder, we’re strapping in.
This choice of Bella Ramsey could have been an error for the Traitors as keeping them in might have actually helped their game - just like the Faithful banishing Richard E Grant did.

It comes as episode three left us on the cliffhanger of Hannah Fry, James Acaster and Maya Jama deciding who to murder between Bash (Sebastian Croft), Ramsey and James Blunt.
Acaster had argued that not only would it make his life 'easier' to murder the singer but would also help to ‘make it chaotic’ in the castle as the Faithful wouldn’t be ‘able to figure it out’. A pretty fair argument, really.

While Fry reckoned wiping out Bash would break up the ‘group of schemers’ and Jama thought Ramsey could work them all out.
Acaster seconded her, saying: "People are doubting their instincts after that roundtable. If Bella's proven to be a Faithful, they're going to be even more spun out."
Ramsey said they reckon the Traitors were 'right to murder' them, but that's very much up for debate.
Right before the murder was revealed at breakfast, Joe Lycett had just been saying that the actor was a strong contender as a potential Traitor - and that would have helped the Traitors survive another day.

"Bella has so much suspicion in the game it would be so bad to kill them," viewers wrote on X.
Others agreed earlier today, writing: "Bella has suspicion so will be good to keep and use as a deflection and murdering Bash puts more spotlight on Hannah.”
In fact, plenty of viewers thought Bash would be a better choice: "Bash murder and then the traitors should put heat on Bella or Julie for the next round table because they were so laser focused on Myha’la and pushed it in a (frankly arrogant) way all day. Hannah in particular needs to get the heat off herself.”

Plus, part of the Traitors' whole logic was it would split up the 'main serious' investigators, the 'group of schemers' but it seems it's only brought Bash and Julie Hesmondhalgh closer.
Some viewers reckoned it should have been someone 'random' to get the Faithfuls overthinking 'like crazy'.
And sure, look, The Traitors is such an unpredictable show to follow so maybe by the end of the episode, murdering Bella will seem like a genius move. There are viewers who think so anyway: "I am soooooo glad Bella has been murdered. Magnificent decision by the Traitors!!!!"
