'One of best series of all time' that left people 'genuinely creeped' finally returns for UK viewers

The show is a cult classic and will be coming back in the UK tomorrow

A show deemed ‘one of the best series of all time’ is finally returning in the UK as the first couple of seasons left viewers ‘genuinely creeped’.

To say 2025 is starting out with a bang TV-wise is the understatement of all understatements.

From the very first day of the year giving us a brand-new Netflix Harlan Coben thriller, it has been hit after hit this year so far.

The Traitors season three has been hitting, American Primeval is a hidden gem on Netflix, and don’t get me started on how Severance is one of the best shows around that no one is watching, and it’s back this week.

In addition to all the above, there is another returning show coming to UK screens tomorrow.

From, a mysterious thriller from the creators of Lost, is coming back.

It is not available to watch on Netflix or Prime unfortunately, but its third season will be available to watch from tomorrow on NOW TV.

Originally premiering back in 2022, From is a science-fiction horror series created by John Griffin.

It is no surprise it’s had viewers so unnerved, as it’s set in a ‘nightmarish town’ in Middle America that ‘traps those who enter’.

Imprisoned there, the unwilling residents try to stay alive while desperately seeking a way out.

Oh, and they must also survive the ‘terrifying nocturnal creatures’ in the forest that surrounds them, as well as all the ‘secrets hidden in the town’.

From stars the likes of Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Elizabeth Saunders, Ricky He, and Shaun Majumder.

And it’s widely praised by viewers, with an impressing 94 percent score on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer and an 85 percent average audience score.

Fans on our Facebook group, Netflix Bangers, are urging others to watch the series, saying it’s ‘totally worth it’.

“I have been waiting for season three to be annoyed by the CLIFF HANGERS and weekly episodes. This series is a BINGE series… it will drive you nuts if you have to wait a week between episodes,” one wrote.

Another said: “It’s probably one of the rare new horrors that has genuinely creeped me out.”

Others put: “One of the best of all time I wish I could watch it for the first time again.”

Although, one did say: “It’s one of my favourites. But I’ll be honest, you’ll either love it, or hate it.”

The show’s third season, which has released in the US in November of 2024, is a massive hit with critics too.

The series’ third outing has a perfect score of 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, with Meagan Navarro of horror-focused website Bloody Disgusting saying: “Even with the mysteries as thorny as ever, Griffin and Pinkner know how to keep us hooked. The showrunners find creative new ways to induce frights.

“Also thanks to the talented cast, it’s easy to follow From down whatever dark path it wants to lead us.”

Leila Latif wrote in their review of season three for A.V. Club: “The series has successfully grounded itself in real emotional stakes, and three seasons in, we genuinely care about these characters despite their frequent missteps and long for them to find the inner strength to continue fighting to survive this coldly-lit hellscape.

“It’s that balance that makes From not just a good show but a potential cult classic, one with enough charisma to keep us coming back for more.”

You can stream seasons one and two of From on NOW, with the third season premiering January 14 in the UK.
