ITV's upcoming schedules have reportedly had a shake up since allegations about Gino D’Acampo’s 'inappropriate and intimidating behaviour' emerged.

The celebrity chef, 48, has starred on and fronted a slew of shows for the broadcaster throughout his career.

His most notable role has been on This Morning, as he has regularly hosted a cooking segment on the programme since 2009.

Footage of a sexual joke he made to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby during a 2013 episode has resurfaced online since the allegations emerged.

ITV are now reportedly set to shelve two of D’Acampo’s upcoming shows after a number of people lodged complaints about his behaviour.

Numerous allegations regarding 'unacceptable', 'distressing' and 'horrendous' experiences with the TV star have been reported by ITV News.

D’Acampo has firmly denied the claims, telling the publication in a statement that it is 'not in his nature' to 'upset or distress anyone'.

"I do not recognise the version of events being put to me," he said. "Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.

"I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of.

"I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."

ITV News reported that from here on out, ITV 'has no plans to work with Gino D'Acampo'.

Ten episodes of Family Fortunes, which D’Acampo has presented since 2020, were due to air this spring but will now be scrapped.

The publication reported that it 'understands the series filmed in 2023 is not currently scheduled for broadcast'.

As well as this, episodes of Family Fortunes which were due to air on ITV2 at 7pm on Friday (7 January) and Monday (10 January) have been replaced by Wheel of Fortune, according to reports.

D’Acampo also fronted series including Gino’s Italian Escape and Gino’s Italy: Secrets of the South on ITV, the latter of which has also apparently been cut from schedules.

According to the Daily Mail, two episodes of the show which sees the chef 'return to his beloved home country', were supposed to air on ITVBe between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday.

These will now be replaced by an episode of Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes instead.

Reports suggest there are no repeat episodes of any shows featuring D’Acampo scheduled by ITV, although some are still available on the broadcaster's streaming service ITVX.
