Graham Norton once revealed the identity of the 'worst ever guest' who appeared on his show.
Friday nights on BBC One are famous for seeing Norton entertaining various celebrities from the US, UK and beyond on his famous red sofa, with the 62-year-old's flagship programme, The Graham Norton Show, being on air for close to two decades.
Which means that in order to earn the title of 'worst ever' guest, you need to have done something pretty spectacular in order to make yourself stand out from the crowd.
And unfortunately for one US actor, he did exactly just that.

When asked to recall a guest whose behaviour stuck out in his mind during an appearance at Henley Literary Festival, Norton named Mark Wahlberg as the person who took the crown.
So what did he do?

"I had Mark Wahlberg fall asleep. He was very, very drunk. It was me, Michael Fassbender and Sarah Silverman," he explained. "But it was hard to get anything done."
Norton went on to explain that while celebrities are given a drink while seated on the sofa anyone who's intoxicated has done that before they've arrived.
"If you ever see a drunk person on the show, it’s because they’ve arrived drunk – we have not made that happen," he explained.
"Mark Wahlberg was a weird one because when he arrived, he didn’t seem drunk. He told me about his film, told me a couple of stories about stunts going wrong or whatever, and then it was only 15 minutes into the show when whatever the hell was in his system really took hold – and it was hell."
For anyone who's not seen the awkward interview, Norton struggles to get a full story from either Fassbender or Silverman, due to Wahlberg constantly interrupting everyone.

He revealed that Wahlberg even fell asleep at one point, adding: Michael Fassbender was telling a story, and this one was going quite well. He was really getting into the heart of the anecdote.
"I thought, ‘this one is going well – I wonder why’ and I looked over at Mark Wahlberg and he was asleep.
"So yeah, we don’t encourage that."

Wahlberg has since addressed his behaviour on the show, claiming his behaviour was part of a preplanned prank with Silverman.
"Sarah Silverman and I talked about doing something funny," he previously explained to Digital Spy.
"I was trying to do a 'bit' and some people took it too seriously."
