With just three episodes left of Celebrity Traitors before the show comes to an end, theories are flying left and right about who is going to go home and who is going to make it to the finale.
One pair that seem on the brink of being booted out are James Acaster and Maya Jama who, despite playing a brilliant game so far, appear to have made a serious error of judgement in the ending to the last episode.
Add to that the mystery behind the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors mural which rose from 14 ‘betrayals’ to 28 after the latest episode, there is so much up in the air about the current season.
If there’s one thing you can probably back about Celebrity Traitors season two though it’s that James Blunt is likely to go late in the game, something that has been all but confirmed by a new chat show confirmation.
James Blunt’s recently announced booking on The Graham Norton Show a week after the finale could signal he’ll make it late in the game
Today, 21 October, it was announced that the Traitors star was set to appear on The Graham Norton Show the in just over two week’s time on 6 November.

For those who don’t have their calendars in order that would make his appearance on the show bang on a week after the Celebrity Traitors finale.
Whilst it’s possible the two are unconnected both series air on the BBC and it is quite common for broadcasters to try and connect their big successes such as Traitors and Graham Norton.
The announcement says that he will be promoting his new song, Circles, but as is often the case with The Graham Norton Show he will then be invited onto the sofa.

Traitors moves fast (who remembers that Amol Rajan was on this season bless him) and so if he is booted in the next two episodes it is unlikely that his appearance would garner as much interest as a faithful (or even recruited traitor) who makes it to the endgame.
Whilst this is a huge positive sign of his chances as a faithful there is another possibility which could mean he is going to make it to the end: the hope that someone in the castle inherited Hannah Fry’s spreadsheet.
Fans have been keeping Hannah Fry’s spreadsheet updated and it places James Blunt as one of the least suspicious faithful

Hannah Fry being recruited as a traitor may have made for good TV but it did mean we missed out on her trying to catch the traitors using maths in a way that would’ve been incredible.
She created spreadsheets for Celebrity Traitors based off those that Alan Turing used to try and crack the enigma code.
This system logged every vote that faithful and traitors made at the roundtables, using these to try and narrow down the 1330 possible combinations of Traitors.
She also logged details such as who sat together at breakfast, sat together in cars, and used this to narrow it down even further.
By combining these details along with things such as ‘burn votes’, votes for traitors, arriving at breakfast alongside a later-banished traitor, she created an ‘expected outcome’ score.
Fans on Reddit have continued to update the spreadsheet and Blunt only has Joanne McNally and Jerry Hall as more likely faithfuls of those still in the game.
This obviously has gone out the window a bit now that Fry was first made into a traitor and the second, banished, but if the others have been paying attention Blunt should be one of the ‘hundo-percent faithfuls’, and might be on Graham Norton the following week to discuss his glorious win.
