As part two of the third season of Clarkson's Farm hits Amazon Prime, you may be wondering how many people work at the famous farm.

The documentary-series sees Jeremy Clarkson swap out supercars for tractors while running Diddly Squat farm in the Cotswolds.

But it's not exactly been a walk in the park.

Over the past two seasons, Clarkson's Farm has seen the TV presenter contended with disobedient animals, unresponsive crops, the local council, a global pandemic and the worst farming weather in years.

And, both fans and farm staff were left heartbroken when a number of piglets tragically died in the new season.

Clarkson, who revealed he still eats pork despite the tragic deaths, was left on the verge of tears after having to euthanise one of his beloved pigs, Baroness, who'd become unwell during pregnancy.

But, beyond the Amazon Prime series, Diddly Squat is a working farm and fans have been investigating how many people it actually employs.

Posting on the Clarkson's Farm feed on Reddit, one user wrote how they'd seen 'recent comments speculating on this' so decided to do some digging into the company's accounts.

They wrote: "For those wondering how many people work on the farm. It is 21 (including Lisa and Jeremy).

"Saw some recent comments speculating on this so there’s the official answer from the company’s accounts.

"Was curious about whether the farm makes a profit since the last episode seemed to ignore pretty much all business costs.

"As it’s a small company it doesn’t submit profit and loss statements so I couldn’t tell how accurate the show was being in the last episode figures - but I thought the employee number was interesting as the show gives the impression of a much smaller operation."

And, with the farm shop becoming a fully fledged tourist attraction, others have wondered whether visitors have ever caught a glimpse of Clarkson and co in real life.

One Redditor asked: "Does Lisa (Clarkson's partner) actually work in the shop, does Jeremy/Kaleb actually work the farm or do they just show up for filming and don't [do] stuff when the cameras aren't around? Just curious."

Replying, one visitor said: "I've been three times and never seen them, or Kaleb. I did see Gerald buying a paper in the Chadlington shop/cafe about three weeks ago."

But, another was much luckier on their visit to the famous farm, responding: "I saw Jeremy and I assume some builders/surveyors looking at the barn area where the Hawkstone beer is served last summer, and my partner said Lisa was in the shop when she went round."
