Kelly Brook had an important message ahead of her first swimsuit scene in the jungle.

During last night’s (19 November) episode, some of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmates decided to cool off with a dip in the creek.

Brook declared herself as ‘Jungle Woman’ as she cleared leaves from out of the way, as she explained in the Bush Telegraph: “It’s a really, really hot day today in camp, so I made the suggestion that maybe we go down to the pool and have a little swim. And it was absolutely delightful.”

Alex Scott and Shona McGarty were persuaded to brave it and joined her in the water, but it all went south as they spotted a group of leeches in the corner and quickly escaped the pool.

And while the creek isn’t quite the ITV camp’s infamous ‘Jungle shower’, Brook had issued a bit of a plea in reference to her being in her swim stuff on TV.

Ahead of entering I’m A Celeb, the former Page Three model made reference to being the subject of the particular shot as she urged viewers to accept how she looks.

“Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes,” the 45-year-old told the Mirror.

"And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look.

"You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing."

Brook’s modelling career began when she was 16, and in 2005 she topped the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World List, having become a major name as a Page Three girl.

The actor previously said that she’s ‘always been a curvy girl’ and is ‘proud’ of it, having ‘embraced’ her curves, which make her ‘feel really confident’.

And when online trolls have told her she was ‘too big’ in the past, she’s hit back: “I’m a healthy size 12. I’m not apologising for having boobs and a bum.”

Preparing for the Jungle Shower

One of the most famous I’m A Celeb shower scenes of all time is, of course, the iconic Myleene Klass in her white bikini back in 2006.

And Brook spoke to the star ahead of heading to the jungle herself, having packed ‘plenty of swimsuits’.

“Yes, Myleene did talk to me about the shower,” she said, adding: “She said that when she arrived she did not actually have a swimsuit that was appropriate for the television.

"So she actually had to run out and get something. I think it would be very difficult to try and recreate something like that. That was fate that was meant to be, and that was her moment."

While the radio host does plan on hopping in the shower, it'll be more of an ‘in and out very quickly’ due to it being ‘freezing’. But now she’s met the leeches in the creek, Brook might end up changing her mind.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! airs nightly at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
