Sam Thompson has won I'm A Celebrity 2023

Another series of I'm A Celeb comes to an end and we have a new winner

The latest series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is over and we've got a new winner to add to the long list of Kings and Queens of the jungle.

This year the prestigious I'm A Celeb crown has gone to Sam Thompson after they were the last person standing.

Tony Bellew came second and Nigel Farage came in third place.

It's been quite the rollercoaster ride in this year's jungle, with plenty of the early action dominated by the feud between influencer Nella Rose and First Dates host Fred Sirieix.

They first clashed after Fred made some comments which Nella found 'disresepectful', as he told her there was such an age difference between them that he 'could be your dad'.

While they seemingly made things up after teaming up on a task, Nella then stuck him on pot-washing duties when she was in charge of the celebrity camp.

Grace Dent was the first celebrity to leave I'm A Celeb, quitting the jungle before anyone had a chance to actually be voted out.

She was soon followed by Jamie Lynn Spears, who also quit the show on 'medical grounds' before having a chance to be kicked off the show.

They'll still have been paid in full as the celebrities have got to stick it out for at least 72 hours in the jungle if they want to avoid losing a chunk of their fee for being on the show.

That's all the money anyone's getting however, as there's no cash prize for winning I'm A Celeb.

It turns out that if you pack your show full of celebrities and give them big chunks of money if they make it past three days then a pot of money at the end isn't much of an incentive to stick out having tubs of cockroaches poured over you.

Did you guess correctly who was going to win I'm A Celeb this year?

The big prize is getting to sit on that throne and act like the ruler of the jungle, knowing that you'll probably be asked back in future years to talk about what it takes to win.

The first campmate to be voted out this year was one of the last to arrive, as late arriving jockey Frankie Dettori was given his marching orders by public ballot.

He was followed by feuding pair Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix, and even more have been following them on that big bridge out of the jungle.

Now we've got our winner for I'm A Celeb 2023 it'll be quite the wait for the next series, but did your favourite celebrity win this time?
