The Boys X-Rated scene is so disturbing it has been banned in India

The Boys X-Rated scene is so disturbing it has been banned in India

The scene has been heavily censored in India

The Boys and X-Rated scenes go hand in hand.

If you were to censor every scene involving a d**k, lewd sexual content, or scenes with 10 uses or more of the words f**k and c**t – the show would make no sense.

Despite this though, that is exactly what has happened to The Boys in India, a country that has history for banning big Amazon stars.

Whilst The Boys fans insist that if a scene in this show can disgust you it’s better to find another show – that hasn’t stopped some fans from speaking out about almost losing their lunch watching one X-rated scene in the show.

The scene in question is a parody of a film series that was once called ‘the most depraved piece of media ever made’, so that should tell you what we’re dealing with.

Episode two of the new season sees us introduced to Splinter, a superhero whose power allows him to instantly clone himself.

Infatuated with another antagonist named Firecracker, a Q-anon right wing nut – he is walked in on by Frenchie and Kimiko.

Is he using his powers for good? No, of course not, it’s The Boys.

He is in a ‘human centipede’ style chain eating his own ar*e, with the Splinter at the head of the chain masturbating to a pitcher of Firecracker.

You may be wondering, why oh why did you have to describe that scene in that much detail?

Well, our Indian readers will be confused – because if they went to watch The Boys they would simply have seen Frenchie walk in on Splinter, on his own in the sauna, sans clones – masturbating to the picture.

Because that’s much better.

Posted on X by a Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic by the name of Pramit, he went on to say: “Ee: full frontal nudity, the censorship was egregious in The Boys season three & gen v. but in season four, there is full frontal nudity.”

He went on to say in the replies when asked about censorship in season three: “In the Herogasm episode. Almost all of it was cropped out or choppily edited. It was horrible.”

Whilst it sounds like matters have improved in season four, the scene of Splinter human centipeding himself was clearly where Indian censors drew the line.

That said, it’s not even the only scene.

One disgruntled fan on X pointed out that a scene in episode one, in which Butcher sends a character a picture of his ar*ehole (because of course he does), was censored.

They said: “Hey [Prime Video India] babe, you up? Great. Can we have a chat about you Randomly censoring scenes from The Boys in India?

“In season 4 episode 1 Butcher sends a picture of a (his?) butthole to screw with someone (typical Butcher) which has been blurred out.”

For those in India watching, commiserations – but you may have won out here in all honesty.
