The Traitors is back and fans are getting acquainted with a whole bunch of new contestants before they inevitably get booted off the show.
When they go I don't want to hear any of this 'I just couldn't be a Traitor, it's not in my nature' malarkey after nearly all of them told Claudia that's the role that they really wanted.
Almost all of them were chomping at the bit to be Traitors and start murdering each other, but this year there's a new twist which has been sprung upon Traitors and audience alike.
For the fourth series of The Traitors the formula has been shaken up a bit as there's a 'Secret Traitor' in the house, with their identity a secret to everybody except themselves and the producers, as they're tasked with drawing up a shortlist of possible murder targets.

It's a novel twist as the Traitors don't know which of the others is on their side and for once the audience gets to flail wildly with a lack of information and see how difficult it is to spot the bad guys when there's pretty much nothing to go on.

Fortunately, The Traitors fans are well versed in spotting clues and finding out things ahead of time, and they think they've seized upon a pretty important one shown to us in the first episode.
In the opening episode we were shown a picture of a family tree, only the branches are covered with the players and a couple of sentences of Latin are written upon it.
Child's play for The Traitors fans.
The words read: "Beware lest you trust even your own blood - the sharpest knives are often passed over on the mountain by faithful hands.
"Among close friends the most hidden spears lie concealed; beware lest your trust become the cause of your ruin and destruction."
Perhaps it means something and perhaps it doesn't, but fans are starting to think it's a clue that 'everyone is linked somehow' or at the very least there are a lot of people on the show who have some sort of connection.

Early on in the show Ross and Netty revealed they actually knew each other a bit outside the show, and according to The Sun this was not intentional as background checks showed they followed each other on social media but producers insisted they had no idea how the two of them were going to react.
It didn't go well for Netty since this connection made her a prime candidate to be murdered to throw suspicion on Ross.
Meanwhile, the contestants didn't figure out that Judy was the mother of Roxy before the mum got her marching orders and was the first player to be banished.
That's a couple of connections right there, but The Traitors fans are starting to think there might be more to discover and the family tree could point the way.
Then again, another fan suggested it's just there so they all 'know how to spell everyone's name' when it comes to the round table so they're not voting for 'Hughgoh', 'Rocksee' or 'Feeowner'.
The Traitors is on again tonight (3 December) on BBC One and starts at 7:45pm, make sure you're aware of the schedule change.
