Warning: This article contains spoilers for the latest episode of The Traitors.
Fans of The Traitors reckon they've proved a big theory about two of the contestants still in the game, at least at the time of writing.
Last night's (15 January) episode left on another murder cliff-hanger as Agent Rachel, FBI, and the impressively jumpsuited Stephen decided yet again not to recruit anyone to their side and to once again opt to kill someone off.
Poor Matthew must be wondering if his deal with the Traitors still stands or whether he'll get the letter from them he didn't want, but while we must wait and see how it all pans out, viewers have been back on the theories and think a moment at breakfast 'proved it'.

While the morning munch wasn't quite as dramatic as the previous episode's fare with Harriet announcing she knew Rachel was a Traitor and then getting voted off the show, fans think they've picked up on a specific moment that proves something important.
Much of the discussion was over who nabbed a shield and who didn't the previous day, with James coming under fire and Jessie stepping in to defend him.
She pointed out: "Can I just add please, because I don't want James to get a lot of heat. If he was a Traitor, he wouldn't be desperate to get one."
In a confessional, she said he was 'my best mate' on the show while admitting he does seem to have goofed with the whole stealing a shield business.

Jessie and James, referred to by certain Traitors fans as 'Team Rocket', have been fellow Faithfuls all the way through the show and they do seem to get along well, which has led some viewers to think there might be a connection between them.
Remember the connections? Turns out there was a mother-daughter team on The Traitors in the form of Judy and Roxy, Ross and Netty had met before being on the show and it turns out that Ellie and Ross are a couple.

It's rather fallen by the wayside in recent episodes as the drama of the BBC show has taken hold, but fallen Traitor Hugo told LADbible that even the contestants were trying to figure out how they might all be connected.
As for Jessie and James, the current fan theory is that they might be siblings as some fans think them getting along and being on each other's side shows they're 'pretty much confirmed brother and sister' or that they at least 'definitely knew each other before the series'.

They reckon that if one of them leaves the show early, they'll drop a reveal that 'they're brother and sister', while some other viewers have deployed modern parlance and said their interactions are 'giving related'.
Some viewers have even called it a 'blunder', though it hasn't really drawn much heat onto either of them that wasn't already there and the other players don't seem to have spotted anything.
Perhaps this is the case and we'll soon discover that Jessie and James really do know each other and that explains why the one Faithful everyone really ought to be listening to has been sticking up for him.

Or as Jessie herself put it, she's 'an empathetic person' and could understand why James acted as he did even if it brought the heat, correctly spotting it as the move of a Faithful who didn't want to get murdered and showing she's one of the players who is actually thinking about the game.

Just on the siblings front, they're listed as having different surnames with Jessie hailing from Hull and James' hometown down south in Weymouth.
It's all distracting from far more important matters anyway, like her correct suspicion of Stephen or how both a Traitor and a Faithful have really gone for Rachel in the past few episodes, but nobody is even talking about her.
The Traitors continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
