If you've been waiting for your next big horror fix, EVIL DEAD BURN is nearly here.

The latest chapter in the legendary EVIL DEAD franchise arrives in Australian cinemas on July 9, serving up the series' trademark mix of supernatural terror, inventive carnage and the kind of relentless thrills that begs to be experienced on the biggest screen possible.

This time around, the nightmare begins with a woman seeking refuge after the loss of her husband. What should be a chance to reconnect with family quickly spirals into something far more sinister when a demonic force tears through a secluded home, transforming loved ones into bloodthirsty Deadites.

The result? A family reunion that goes spectacularly off the rails.

And if you'd like to witness the mayhem before everyone else, you're in luck.

We're giving away double passes to advance screenings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane on July 7, alongside in-season passes for horror fans in Adelaide and Perth.

To go in the running, in 25 words or less tell us a horror movie scene you'll never forget, and why would EVIL DEAD BURN be your perfect big-screen follow-up?

Best answers win, so bring your best demon, undead or slasher foot forward.

Directed by Sébastien Vaniček and produced by EVIL DEAD creator Sam Raimi, the film promises the franchise's most savage outing yet. Expect demonic possessions, jaw-dropping practical effects and enough shocking moments to have horror fans talking long after the credits roll.

The cast includes Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar and Greta Van Den Brink, all caught in the path of an evil that refuses to stay dead.

For longtime fans, it's another descent into the chaos that made the franchise a horror icon. For newcomers, it's a chance to experience one of the genre's most influential series at its most intense.

Ready to test your nerves? Enter now for your chance to see EVIL DEAD BURN before release, or catch it exclusively in cinemas from July 9. And if you want to feel terrifyingly inspired, watch the trailer below.
