Nearly two years after the first ever season was released, Bridgerton has become one of Netflix’s most popular series of all time.

The first series followed the eldest daughter of the aristocratic Bridgerton family, Daphne, who falls in love with Simon Basset, a mysterious young suitor.

Season 2 left these two love birds behind and welcomed the character of Anthony Bridgerton on his quest to find the love of his life.

The series was watched for 251.7 million hours in its debut week, and broke records for Netflix’s most viewed English-language TV series.

So with people gripped to the storyline of the famous fictional family, fans are wondering whether there will be a third season…luckily, we have all the info you need…

Will There Be A Season 3 Of Bridgerton?

It seems as though fans are going to get even more than they are asking for, as Bridgerton has confirmed not only a third, but also a fourth (yes, you heard that right!) season of the adored show.

The third series will, however, deviate from the running order of the Bridgerton novels released in 2002.

It has been made known that this season will take a look more closely at Colin Bridgerton and his relationship with Penelope Featherington.

In an exclusive interview with Variety, showrunner Jess Brownell said “I really feel like it’s Colin and Penelope’s time."

"Because we’ve been watching both of these actors on our screens since season 1, we’ve already invested in them a little bit.”

When Will Season 3 Be Released?

Unfortunately for fans, Netflix is yet to announce when the third season of Bridgerton will bless our screens.

Season 2 took just over a year after the first season to be released, meaning we could possibly expect an early 2023 arrival…I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
