Mabel took to the social media platform to share her six incorrect guesses, tweeting: “I don’t want to f***ing talk about it”.

Another Twitter user ranted about the game, penning very angrily in all-caps: “F*** U WORDLE F*** U F*** U NYTIMES PERSON I HOPE U STUB ALL OF UR TOES I HOPE U GO TO THE GYM AND SOMEONE DROPS A WEIGHT ON UR FINGERS I HOPE U STAIN UR FAV WHITE SHIRT W SMTHNG U CANT WASH OUT [sic]”.

“This is the worst day of my life. I am quitting wordle,” Georgie added on the site.

A different social media mogul penned: “Royally beaten by #wordle265. My streak cruelly snatched away!”

“Yeah that’s okay, I didn’t wanna have a good day anyways!”, Andrew tweeted of today's word, which ended up being 'WATCH'.

American singer-songwriter and producer Finneas, who has also written and produced for his sister Billie Eilish, even chimed in on the Wordle discussion.

“Son of a B****,” he wrote alongside his Wordle grid, after guessing today’s word correctly on the last go.

The latest Wordle reaction comes as the game was recently criticised for not choosing a word that reflects International Women’s Day

Wordle players previously accused the game of ‘discrimination’ for not reflecting the important global holiday.
