Google Maps User Thinks They've Spotted A Giraffe In A Welsh Garden

Giraffe's are not native to North Wales you'll be unsurprised to know

A Google Maps user has found yet another strange image on the mapping tool, posting that they think they've found a giraffe in a garden in Wales.

Google Maps has become a reliable tool not just for working out directions but also for people to discover a weird and wonderful array of strange human behaviour, as well as some places in the world that seem just odd.

This latest discovery was shared to Reddit, with the image showing a number of buildings and fields with a red circle included.

It's what in the red circle that's the interesting bit, with viewers who zoom in on it able to see what does appear to be a giraffe-shaped creature with a shadow next to it.

You don't need us to tell you that giraffes are not native to Wales and so this is somewhat surprising.

Evidently a fan of following the Google car around, four people dressed in yellow, green, purple and red - just like Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po - have been wandering the streets of Norilsk in Russia, repeatedly getting snapped by the Google camera car in dozens of images.

Eerily enough, the quartet are all wearing matching face masks too.

Given they live north of the Arctic Circle in an isolated city, it's perhaps fair enough they're somewhat short of things to entertain themselves with. Either way, people are torn as to whether they're part of the Google Maps street crew, or if they're just a bunch of pranksters having a laugh.

In a slightly more gross Google Maps capture, a man was caught earlier this year with his trousers around his ankles having a poo in a field in the Netherlands.

The man was originally spotted by someone perusing Google Maps near to the Dutch city of Roosendaal.

As so many people do they, they headed to Reddit to share their unusual discovery , where it was quickly picked up on by loads of other people.

The post was captioned simply: "I found someone pooping in the grass."

Even grimmer is a shot from 2014 that still exists on Google Maps today, of a man sitting on the ground with his own severed leg in front of him.

The shot - taken in 2014 but still visible today - shows a man and woman in the Ukraine appear to be taking a break from their hike, sitting on their huge rucksacks.

But incredibly, much to the bewilderment of many, the man is seen smiling for the camera - despite missing the bottom half of his left leg.

Thankfully, rather than a horrendous calamity befalling the hiker, the alarming image in fact seems to be the result of a technological glitch with the Google cameras.

On closer inspection, the apparently severed limb is actually blurry at the top, while the man's left leg actually finishes at his ankle, thus not matching the lower leg.

Moving objects often ruin the scene as they shift when the photos are taken - hence the shocking scene.
