In the lead up to an election, Prime Ministerial candidates will usually appear at rallies or events with their families to give off a vibe that this person is stable and in a committed, loving relationship.

But while the Conservatives are dealing with the idea of a minority government, attention has shifted to Jeremy Corbyn and his family.

People on social media are absolutely swooning over the Labour leader's youngest son, Tommy, and comparing him to Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood .

Others on social media likened him to a young Justin Timberlake or Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe. Many also mocked Labour's motto by saying that his face was definitely 'for the many and not the few'.

Tommy, 23, is very vocal about his dad's party and has been helping drum up grassroots support for Labour.

He recently revealed that he was once mugged by a person riding a moped scooter in his dad's Islington North constituency.

In a Facebook post, Tommy says: "Wasn't expecting to get mugged on my own street walking home this evening. Friends if you're going to walk and text PLEASE be vigilant.

"Anyone in the Holloway area keep your eyes peeled for someone with a black and white moped selling a Galaxy S5 with a cracked screen, I look forward to meeting him."

If that wasn't bad enough, he was attacked last year outside a nightclub in York. According to the Mirror, he complained to police about being headbutted, causing a cut to his eye.

He is studying electrical engineering at the University of York and was allegedly confronted a day after organising an event for York's Palestinian Solidarity Society.
