Driver's Excuse For Speeding Is Possibly The Feeblest Ever

If you're ever caught speeding (naughty) and they ask what your explanation is... just own up to it. Put your hands up and say: 'Sorry, mate. I won't do it again' and get your fine (or get arrested) and move on. Don't try and get away with it.

Well, unless your heavily pregnant wife is in the back seat and going into labour, we'll forgive you for that one.

In Western Australia, a driver decided to be the ultimate chancer and told police it was 'the wind's fault' after he was caught reportedly speeding almost 10mph over the limit (78mph in a 68mph zone) through an outback town.

Nah seriously, look...

What an idiot.

This guy isn't the first one to give a shitty excuse to try and get out of trouble.

26-year-old Jonathan Davis was involved in a 30-car police chase after he was stopped because the light illuminating his registration plate was out. Knowing that there was a possibility of him being arrested for the weed in his pocket, he decided to take off at high speeds. He also seems pretty out of it when he was interviewed.

Take a look here...

Exceeding 100mph and crossing multiple counties, Jonathan's Mazda was shot at and he eventually drove over a stinger which lead to him crashing his car. His reason? He was sick of being arrested for the possession of marijuana.

In the interview, he says that the high speeds were 'a thrill'. Maybe it'll be worth the time behind bars then... or maybe not.
