Embarrassing Proposal Caught On Kiss Cam In Front Of Thousands

There are a lot of things that could go wrong during a proposal. You could misplace the ring, or (God forbid) even call her by the wrong name.

You'd be forgiven for thinking that the worst thing that could happen is that she'd say no.

But you'd be wrong. This guy has somehow managed to royally cock up his engagement in the most publicly and awkward way possible.

It's all fun and games as he gets down on one knee... until he's congratulated with a pat on the back before she can even respond.

The ring falls straight out of his hand - which is nothing to celebrate. He has to embarrassingly search the ground for his ring which takes way longer than expected - all while the whole thing is being shown on a big screen in front of thousands. D'oh.

We don't know where this was, or even if she said yes, but it's gone viral with over five and a half million views at the time of writing.

At least things went a lot better for these lads with their proposals...

Or how about this lad who proposed at the 2016 Euros? He really gave the fans something else to cheer about. This couple couldn't be down even if their country lost! What could be better than watching football, drinking beer and getting engaged?

At the end of the day, no matter how you propose it's going to be a risk. Maybe we should all just go for the traditional 'down on one knee' move, but like... in your house or something. Better to be safe than sorry.
