A 96-year-old influencer claims the retirement home she lives at threatened to evict her over wild parties.
Lillian Droniak has racked up millions of social media followers across Instagram and TikTok where she’s known as ‘Grandma Droniak’.
The 96-year-old regularly shares humorous insights into life, including her love of partying.
However, in a recent post, Lillian claimed that she had received a letter from the retirement home warning her that her partying and drinking could see her evicted from the facility.

“I'm getting kicked out of the nursing home. I just got this letter. It says you're getting kicked out if you don't stop the parties,” she said in the clip before sharing the letter.
The letter read in part: “We are reaching out because there have been many noise complaints about your room.

“Parties are not allowed and you cannot serve alcohol to other residents. This is a safety concern.
“While we encourage residents to socialise and enjoy community activities, we cannot have wild parties. It is shown on security footage that people were leaving your room at 1 a.m. last Tuesday.”
It went on to state that ‘continued incidents of this nature’ may result in restricted access to communal areas and could ‘lead to further review of your residency status within the community’.
Lillian didn’t appear to be too upset by the warning, telling her followers: “I pay $12,000 a month to live here. I can party if I want.”
“My girlfriends are coming over tonight. We're going to drink and gossip.
“It's not a party, but we do get rowdy.”
In a statement to People, reps speaking on behalf of Lilian confirmed that the incident ‘actually happened’ but added that it had thankfully now ‘been resolved with her nursing home’.
The rep went on to say that the facility was ‘allowing her to still have people in her room until late’ but that she ‘can’t supply alcoholic drinks’ to them.
In a follow-up post the day after she shared the letter, Lillian defiantly wrote: “Hungover from last night’s party. My nursing home can’t stop me partying through the last chapter of life.”
Lillian moved into the retirement home in 2024 after falling and breaking her leg, telling her followers: “I got put in a home. I need assistance. I don’t want to fall again.”
