If you've ever worked at a bar, you'll know what an absolute pain in the a*se it is to make cocktails.

Whether it's a pornstar martini or a whiskey sour, they're all bit of a ball-ache to make; and if you're ordering several of them, you'd best believe I'll be doing it through gritted teeth.

But one cocktail that's particularly awkward to make is the deadly Long Island iced tea.

The popular tipple contains not one, not two, not three, but four different types of spirits - so it's safe to say if you're ordering one, it's not for the taste.

Long Island ice teas traditionally have vodka, gin, rum and tequila in it and is arguably one of the most ruthless cocktails to have. With triple sec in there as well, I guess it's technically a stomach-churning five liquors.

And if you're tasked with making one, well all know there's a 90 percent chance that all the liquors are located at different points of the bar.

I strongly advise if you see someone doing this during a busy Saturday night shift at your local Dirty Martini, you don't joke that they're 'getting their steps in' because it will probably go down like a lead balloon.

With the array of spirits in mind, one bartender on TikTok has given her hot take on the drink and admitted that she judges people who order them.

The TikToker, known as @soundbowlbae on the platform, shared a clip of her making the cocktail and narrated the process.

The bartender questioned why people would want four spirits in one drink.

"Let me tell y'all a secret," she began.

"When you come up to the bar and you order a Long Island, the first thing I'm thinking is, 'Is everything ok? Like, is everything going on alright in your life 'cos why on earth would you want four different liquors in your drink?'.

"You are getting rum, vodka, tequila and gin all mixed in one. That's just insane."

She went on to joke that she wants people to know that she's 'judging you a little bit' if you order a Long Island.

Despite not being a fan of the drink herself, the TikToker proceeds to demonstrate how to make it.

She captioned the clip: "Recipe .75 ounces of Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila add .5 ounces of Triple Sec and Sour add coke to top. For flavors add puree, stir and top with sprite."

People have since replied to the TikTok saying they usually get a Long Island iced tea because they get more bank for their buck due to how much alcohol is packed into the drink.

"My drink of choice because I don't have to buy very many for the amount of alcohol to get drunk. One or two and I'm set," someone said.

"Long island the only way to make sure you got liquor in your drink," quipped another.

"I think people want the most alcohol for the money in 1 drink," added a third.

I mean, you are practically getting four drinks in one...
