Grab your mates and get your gladrags on, Greene King pubs are offering free pints as part of a tasty Black Friday deal. Cheers to that!

To ring in the Christmas season, the pub chain is gifting hard-working shoppers free pints of beer.

This winter, stout aficionados and IPA lovers can receive up to £60 in free cash to spend on booze behind the bar.

So, how does it work?

Greene King’s Black Friday deal sees the company giving £10 cash for every £40 spent via digital gift cards.

So, if you buy a £40 gift card, which is the minimum single transaction value for this deal, you will receive a neat £10 for your efforts.

However, if you want to go big and treat the special person in your life, you can max out the single transaction value and scoop a voucher for £240. If you purchase the latter, you will be gifted £60

Gift cards are available in multiples of £40 and can be spent at more than 1,600 Greene King venues across the UK.

If you’re not a beer drinker then don’t worry, because you can still get involved with this mega savings deal.

The gifted cash can be redeemed across a wide range of food and drinks at well-known brands such as Hungry Horse, Flaming Grill, and more.

To align with Black Friday Week, you must purchase a Greene King gift card between November 20 to November 27.

While the timeline may be tight on purchase, you’ll find that the digital cards have a full year of validity on them

This means you and your significant other could save the deal and spend it on a romantic Valentine’s Day meal instead.

You could even treat your mum to a Mother’s Day booze-up. Or, save it for next season and enjoy an early festive treat in 2024.

If you’re not one for occasions, you can redeem the vouchers on a festive brunch or a Sunday all-you-can-eat carvery.

If a sharing platter of protein washed down with a lager is more your thing, then spend your e-card as you see fit.

After you purchase the card, all you need to do is head to your local bar, order, and show your voucher to the cashier.

If there’s any balance left after the initial spend, it can be used the next time you visit. Don’t let your hard-earned cash expire though.
