McDonald’s is axing nine items from menu this week

McDonald's is changing its menu once again and it means that nine items are shuffling off the order list.

It seems like just last month that some of these things joined the McDonald's menu, and that's because it was.

Of course the McDonald's menu changing about is a pretty regular thing and it's just moving off its Halloween menu onto something more winter themed.

Still, it's sad to wave goodbye to some of the things on the list like the Philly Cheese Stack which have captured our hearts and taste buds in the short time they've been around.

As with pretty much any McDonald's menu shake up it's not so much goodbye as au revoir, as some of the items which have proven themselves popular will likely make a comeback.

You might have guessed by now that the Philly Cheese Stack is moving on and won't be on the Maccies menu from tomorrow (22 November) onwards.

Also shuffling off is the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, don't worry too much though because the McCrispy is still around and you never know when these burgers will come back around.

You'll also have to say goodbye to the Chilli Cheese Bites both as a portion for one and in their sharebox form, as well as a plethora of McDonald's Halloween menu options.

The Toffee Apple McFlurry is getting the axe, as is the Halloween M&Ms McFlurry, while you can wave goodbye to the Toffee Apple Pie and the Toffee Apple Donut to boot.

Don't be too sad, however, as while it's out with the old (even if we've barely had them a month) it's in with the new as a load of other menu items are on offer.

First off there's the Big & Cheesy burger which is a beef patty with two slices of cheese, red onions, crispy onions and cheese sauce.

The Big & Cheesy with Bacon is all of that plus... yeah, you guessed it.

A popular item last year, the Chicken Big Mac, makes a return to the menu in time for winter, while you can get Cheese Melt Dippers with Rich Tomato Dip if you're after more of a snack.

On the other end of things if you're looking for a veritable feast of munchable McDonald's chicken then you can buy the Chicken Combo which comes with 10 Chicken Selects, 20 Chicken McNuggets and up to eight dips.

Rounding off the new menu is the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry and the Galaxy Caramel Pie.
