Orgasm retreats look to be the latest sex trend hitting the internet as partners struggle to find satisfaction in their bedroom and turn to help.
You only need to have watched a few minutes of the Channel 4 hit show Virgin Island to realise that a lot of people are suffering in a sexual sense and are turning to experts for help, whether that's on the first or 1000th time being intimate.
Although some are just content with five minutes of grunting, others are seeking less traditional forms of fulfilment, perhaps through new techniques such as 'hotwifing', which several couples are saying is helping to save their relationship.
However, some sexual journeys have to be done solo, and that can mean spending a lot of money to get some help from a sex expert - or 'sexpert' if you will.

For Jana Hocking, that meant attending the Back to Body Sex Retreat orgasm retreat in California, which can cost customers up to £11,000, as they seek a new form of pleasure.

Jana said: "I thought it would be full of extroverts who were outlandish and wanted to perform in front of each other, but it really wasn’t.
"They were either getting divorced and realised they hadn’t had a proper orgasm and wanted to right wrongs, while other women were dealing with trauma and needed to learn how to enjoy sex again, which was quite heartbreaking."
The group of women, who were all in their 40s apart from one 75-year-old, then went on a journey involving tantric meditation, bondage and shabari workshops.

Jana explained: "We were blindfolded and laid on the ground while sexy music played,’ Jana explains. ‘The helpers adorned your naked body with crystals and fruit, to bring you back to your femininity." However, it seems that the expensive mixture of fruit, crystals and ropes wasn't enough as Jana sadly left as the only woman who didn't reach climax during the course.
Fortunately for those of you who fancy attending one a little closer to home in the UK, Jem Ayres, a sexological bodyworker, tantra practitioner and teacher, is hosting one later this year.
On her website, she has explained exactly what you can expect from an orgasm retreat, as she aims to help customers experience them in all parts of the body, rather than just being focused on the genitals.
She wrote: "This retreat is for those who wish for a remembering and a re-claiming of their body and its pleasure potential, at this beautiful retreat centre.

"There is so much shame attached to our bodies, our pleasure and our sexuality, that we’ve become guarded and created blocks within our energy system. This restricts not only our ability to feel but also to flow as orgasmic beings.
"When we step into the fullest expression of our life force energy, real transformation can occur in both our inner and outer worlds.
"Bringing breathe, movement, awareness, language and conscious touch to the body can create release allowing us to regain agency of our body and its responses.
"During this weekend we’ll be demystifying orgasmic life force and tracking the blocks within our own energy through solo, partner and group work."
As well as food and accommodation, attendees at Jem's full body orgasm retreat will be treated to meditations, dance and breath work, which she explains can lead to orgasms in the heart, toes, and even the nose.

So, if you fancy less of a swingathon and more of a solo adventure, then maybe these orgasm retreats might be the one for you.
