Travelling can end up costing a bomb: what with forking out for flights, booking hotels and embarking on boujee excursions.

On top of that, there’s food and drink to pay for, as well as sky-high data roaming prices you’ll be forced to cave to if you want to use Google Maps outside of your room.

But did you know Brits abroad can start saving a bit of wonga by tapping into this 64p-per-day travel ‘hack’?

If you want to get more for your money and use social media when you’re out and about on holiday, then get a load of this clever genius 'roamless' hack.

What is the 'roamless' hack?

The Roamless app is the ultimate data roaming travel 'hack' for Brits abroad (Roamless)

This app has been specifically designed with travellers in mind, offering holidaymakers the chance to stay connected with their loved ones in over 200 countries.

All you have to do is download the Roamless app on the Apple or Google Play Store, sign up and instantly start using the internet abroad without SIM swaps, hidden fees, or tech headaches.

There are two options to choose from: RoamlessFLEX, a commitment-free pay-as-you-go data option or RoamlessFIX, a 30-day prepaid plan by country or region.

With RoamlessFLEX, you just need to add credits to your account before you can use it. Don’t worry, your balance never expires either, so it’ll be waiting for you the next time you need it.

If you’re staying in foreign countries for longer or tend to skew towards heavy data usage, then the RoamlessFIX upgrade will be your best friend.

The good news is that the app seamlessly switches between countries and networks, making it perfect for country-hopping travellers this summer season.

Travel destinations where the app works include the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, China, Australia, the United States, and many more.

How much does the app cost?

Those travelling across the US could pay just 64p per day to use data (Roamless)

So, how much will this jaw-dropping travel hack cost you? Well, a lot less than you would think, actually!

If you’re on a trip to the United States and opt to use the RoamlessFIX plan, then a 200MB day will cost you just 64p, and 1GB of data on the US plan will cost you £3.20.

If you’re travelling elsewhere, then you’ll need the Global RoamlessFIX plan instead.

A 200MB day will cost £1.44, and £7.20 will be all you need to pay for 1GB of data.

Considering I paid £45 for 2GB of data when I travelled to Barbados for 10 days in April, I think the hack is a pretty good deal.

What do real users say about the eSIM app?

Reviewers of the eSIM app have been having their say, with one claiming: “I always struggle arranging local SIMs abroad. Roamless made it effortless. Just activate once and keep using it!”

Another said: “Currently in Cambodia after Thailand and Bali, used Roamless frequently in these countries without any problems after previous trips using Airolo , will keep using for future trips.”

A third replied that the US-based company had come up with ‘a great concept’ and that they would ‘definitely recommend Roamless to anyone needing a travel eSIM’.

On Trustpilot, Roamless has an average 3.8-star rating from customers, with the majority of reviews being in the five-star range.
