Brits can now save more than £300 on airport parking charges with a simple hack shared by Martin Lewis in his newsletter.

As regular travellers will know, the airport can be a money pit, whether it's the traditional Spoons trip or last-minute dash to Boots for forgotten essentials.

Thankfully, the money-saving expert's team have revealed a 'hidden' way to save pennies on your next holiday in his latest newsletter - and it's simpler than you think.

How to save more than £300 on airport parking charges this summer

According to Lewis, all you need to do is book airport parking ahead of time, even if it's on the same day of travel.

The MoneySavingExpert website states, 'Turn up at Manchester Airport without a booking on July 16, and it'll cost you £430 per week to park there, but we found official parking on July 15 via a comparison site from just £69 per week.'

At the time of writing this, a seven-day parking space at Manchester Airport's Multi Storey West* (July 18 to July 25) will set you back a whopping £430.

However, if you pre-book the same dates online in advance, it will only cost £93 - that's a huge £337 saving.

All you need to do is select JetParks 3 and enter the dates you would like to travel.

As Lewis mentioned, you can save even more money if you book through a comparison site. For instance, you can book Manchester Airport's Official JetParks Ringway for seven days from only £77.51 via Holiday Extras. Meanwhile, T1 and T3 Mid Stay for one week costs from only £96.31 over on BookFHR.com. According to Lewis, even making the time to book a spot on your way to the airport can make all the difference - but the earlier you do it, the better the deal.
