Private jet company offering luxury flights for less than £400pp but there's one major catch

A global private jet company is offering flights to passengers at an affordable price, but there's one caveat.

Chapman Freeborn have offered the Average Joe like you and I a chance to live the high life for a few hours.

Flying private is a pipe dream for many, but you soon could experience it yourself if you take the charter up on their rare offer.

Travelling like an A-list celebrity has never been so affordable.

The deal starts at €3,000 (£2,200) for a one-way journey on the plane for between four and six passengers, which works out to £366 a person for the one-way trip.

It all almost sounds too good to be true, but you'll have to buy the package on one huge condition.

It's called the 'blind booking service', and it guarantees a luxury return flight to a European holiday destination.

But the asterisk here, is that you don't know where you're heading when you step onto the private plane.

Sorry to put a halt to those trips to Ibiza or Santorini, but you'd still be going to a random location on board one of the company's fancy jets.

There is a choice for passengers though, with locations being placed into five separate categories.

These are: City break, Germany exclusive, romance, outdoor action, and sun and beach.

To apply for the deal, you'll have to fill a form in online, with the company stating that they'll check in with passengers on the same day with details of where the adventure could take them.

Topping it all off, there's an option to opt out and turn the jet around if you don't like the location on offer.

Upon launching the deal, Chapman Freeborn said in a statement: "For blind booking customers, the appeal lies in the spontaneity and exclusivity.

"Chapman Freeborn offers an elevated travel experience without the complicated logistical overplanning, ideal for adventurers who want to let go and be surprised, but still expect luxury at every step."

The private jet company believes that the deal will encourage travellers from the US to make the trip to Europe in luxury.

One of the planes in Chapman Freeborn's fleet includes the Dassault Falcon 7X, a model that's no stranger to an athlete's Instagram snaps.

We're talking pristine white leather seats and large clear windows.

It's enticing for many, as a spokesperson said that they hope people looking for something different on their travels are intrigued.

"Inspired by the same wanderlust-driven mindset fueling the popularity of exploring and immersing in new cultures and destinations, Blind Booking gives travelers the chance to fly by private jet to a holiday retreat they won’t learn about until right before takeoff," the spokesperson added.

£366 one way - why not?
