Woman who went to 'adult resort' where couples swap partners shares secret signs people use

You've heard of so-called 'spicy cruises', but have you heard about the raunchy resorts you can also head to if you prefer your feet to remain on dry land?

Cancun-based travel company Temptation, who specialise in adults-only holidays, seem to have cornered the market when it comes to organising trips for couples who want to swap partners.

Whether you fancy a sex-filled voyage while sailing the seven seas, or you prefer having that kind of fun while staying firmly on solid ground, it appears that they have something for everyone.

There isn't much difference between these two holiday options, according to those who have experienced them, as the same rules apply on cruises and at resorts. Passengers are pretty much free to do as they please.

This makes the transition from one to the other a bit easier for swingers, who don't have to brush up new lingo and code words for them to communicate with other visitors.

But for those who still have no clue how they should go about subtly letting people know they are down for something of a holiday romance, a woman who headed to a Temptation resort in Mexico has revealed all.

In a TikTok video, travel blogger Bri (@bonjour.itsbri) shared what she learned from her 'incredible' holiday at the swingers resort last year - and told her followers it was a 'must visit'.

She enjoyed it so much that her and a friend are heading back again in August, while adding: "You will not find a better place for a party!"

The content creator explained that there are certain 'signs to look for' while enjoying a 'spicy' break which people use to signal their interest in others.

But she said there are also a few 'basic' ones, such as a do not disturb sign hanging on someone's door - which obviously indicates that those inside don't wan't any disruptions.

Bri said there was also another door prompt that people supposedly use to let passersby know they do want disrupting, which she 'had no idea' about until her 2023 trip.

She explained: "Apparently if a door is open, that means you are more than welcome to go and join...which I think is a bit of a gamble, because you don't know what you're getting yourself into. So, that's up to you!"

Bri told social media users it was also important to look at the finer details of the fellow holidaymaker you take a fancy to, as they may be wearing their swinging signal.

She continued: "Now, if you see a woman wearing a name necklace, that means they want a woman to join. Men with name necklaces means that they want a man to join"

The travel blogger clarified that she had gained this nugget of knowledge from another person at the Temptation resort.

Bri said that people might also sometimes wear t-shirts which make their intentions clear, as for example someone with a unicorn design on theirs may be signalling that they are a 'single female looking to join couples'.

And obviously, there is the all time classic - an upside down pineapple on the door.

Bri added: "If you see this, that just means that the couple is looking for another couple to swap partners with."

Temptation describes it's luxury resorts - which boast themed activities, top-optional areas, signature parties and a selection of food options - as 'the best adults-only, all-inclusive resort in Cancun'.

The website states: "Our temptastic all-inclusive party resort for adults only (21+), located in Cancun’s breathtaking hotel zone, is for those seeking a level of fun they’ve never experienced before!

"With areas where bikini tops are optional, complimented by iconic entertainment, we will provide you with freedom and tons of fun!"
