With the cost of almost everything on the rise, many of us have taken to holidaying more locally over the past few summers. But we’ve just spotted an unbelievable deal that could see you visit Egypt this summer for less than it would cost you to book a return train journey in many parts of the UK, at the moment.

As part of Travel Republic’s ‘Sizzling Summer Deals’ you could stay at a stunning Sharm-El-Sheikh hotel with its very own private beach for an entire week for just £95. And this is actually based on two adults sharing one room, so it’s really only £48 per person for your entire stay.

If you fancy jetting off to Egypt this July, keep reading to find out everything you need to know about the incredible deal.

The price includes seven nights at the hotel in Egypt.

What does the £48 per person price include?

For £48 per person – or £95 in total – you’ll be staying at the Amar Sina Village hotel in the Hadaba region for seven nights. It is room-only in one of their standard rooms, however, you can upgrade to bed-and-breakfast, half-board or even all-inclusive for an additional fee.

For example, if you want to go half-board (where you’ll receive your breakfast and dinner at the hotel) this costs just £5 per person extra for the entirety of the holiday.

You can also upgrade to a standard room with a double or twin bed for £19 more.

The hotel itself is located a few minutes away from Sharm El-Sheikh international airport, according to Travel Republic, with it also being a short distance from the heart of the city.

The deal is Room Only in one of the hotel's Standard Rooms.

What are previous travellers saying about the hotel?

While there are a number of mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, one traveller called it ‘an absolute gem'.

The went on to expand upon this, declaring: “I have been to Egypt several times before, previously staying in larger hotels as travelling with children. I was a little wary after reading reviews here but I needn't have worried.

"Amar Sina has been a perfect getaway. It may be a little dated in places but the rustic charm far outweighs the corporate blandness I have experienced in larger hotels. The staff are warm and welcoming and will do all they can to make your stay as relaxing as possible. I will definitely return here without any hesitation.”

Another traveller called it ‘cheap and cheerful'.

The hotel is just minutes from the city and neighbouring airport.

How much are flights to Sharm-El-Sheikh?

If you’re considering booking this unmissable deal, you might have wondered how much a flight will cost to Sharm-El-Sheikh. And there are a few different options available to you.

Easyjet flies from Birmingham, Bristol, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester. On the other hand, TUI, British Airways, Egyptair and Pegasus Air also fly from the UK to Egypt, with direct and connecting flights available.

When we searched, the price for the dates in question ranged from around £340 from London, all the way through to £488 for direct flights from Birmingham. So, it’s worth bearing this in mind when you go to book.

But with the hotel being such a bargain, this should still make it a pretty affordable holiday away this summer.

The deal is available from travelrepublic.com.
