A fitness influencer is facing a massive fine if she steps foot back into her local gym.
Edda Elisa, 25, - also known as Edda Pilz - told her half-a-million followers that she has been banned from John Reed Fitness due to a bizarre reason.
The Berlin-based content creator said on TikTok (@edda.elisa) that she’s ‘been banned worldwide from every John Reed gym, as well as McFIT and Gold's Gym’.
“So basically, I can't train anywhere anymore because there are barely any other gyms around,” she said, apart from the one in Switzerland.

“And if I enter any of those gyms, I have to pay a €250,000 (£213,350) fine.
“And the only legitimate reason is that two gym managers are genuinely, pathologically jealous of me.”
She said ‘there really is no other explanation’ as to why the gym chain, with over 47 locations across eight countries including the UK, has banned her.
‘They reprimanded me for taking mirror selfies’

“One of them told me two weeks ago, ‘Yeah, you're not allowed to take mirror selfies anymore’,” Edda continued.
“So I said, ‘Huh, okay—but everyone does it here. If it's not allowed, then it should be banned for everyone’.
“He argued with me for a bit, but then I pointed out that it clearly isn't forbidden.”

At the time of posting the video, Edda said she is waiting for John Reed to explain the rules to her because ‘they even post mirror selfies from influencers, so apparently it's fine when they do it’.
“So for everyone who thought they were safe from influencers—nope, you're not. By that logic, everyone should be kicked out,” she added.
“That's why I'm wondering, John Reed, what exactly did I do differently from everyone else?”
John Reed Fitness issues statement
A spokesperson for John Reed Fitness told RTE: “We can confirm that Edda Pilz has been dismissed without notice.
“She repeatedly violated our house rules and had previously received a warning.”
LADbible Group has contacted John Reed Fitness for additional comment.
Edda couldn’t board a flight because she ‘looked naked’

The reality TV star, who has been on Ex On The Beach and Sommerhaus der Stars, was previously told she couldn't board a Lufthansa flight at the end of June because she 'looked naked'.
Edda had on a V-cut sports bra and black biker shorts as she attempted to board a flight from Berlin to Austria during a 30°C heatwave.
As she tried to scan her boarding pass, a representative told her: "You cannot board."
“You have nothing on. You are naked," she then claimed she was told, after asking why she wasn't being allowed on the flight. Edda was eventually let on with a hoodie.
Lufthansa told LADbible at the time that it ‘takes indications of potential irregularities in the way passengers are handled very seriously and reviews such incidents internally’.
"As a general principle, Lufthansa expects all passengers to wear clothing appropriate to the nature of public travel and not to impair the well-being of fellow passengers from a wide range of countries," the spokesperson added.
"This expectation forms part of our General Conditions of Carriage. Our employees act on this basis with due discretion and within the scope of their judgment."
