In a recent clip, titled 'How Much Does a Bin Man Earn', the TikTok user is in conversation with a 27-year-old bin man named Gav who truly lifts the lid on the job.
"What would you say average you run a year now?" he asks, as the worker responds that basic pay is 'around £38,000 a year'.
With overtime and bonuses, he says he is on 'plus 50 grand a year'.
"So how old are you?" he goes on to ask, before the bin man replies "27", explaining he has been working in the waste industry since he was 22-years-old.
When asked if he'd recommend it as a job for younger people, he honestly responds: "One hundred percent. But you know what? None of them do it.
"I've been in the waste game since I was 18. I am still the youngest lad in it."

Explaining why, he adds: "I think the way social media is going these days, a lot of lads want to go to social media.
"Yeah, but for me, I think they should do it. 100 percent. It's like I say, the jump... I was lucky to pull 1,400 quid a month when I was unqualified.
"First month as a driver you're pulling two-and-a-half (thousand), pushing three grand. It's a big jump."
Bin man says they won't collect recycling bin if you leave specific item in it
Another bin man has revealed what item you should never put in the recycling bin.
Known as the The No1. Binman, he has warned us all to stop putting polystyrene in for recycling, saying that he would have no option but to leave the bin if the material is spotted inside.

According to Recycle Now, 'polystyrene is a type of plastic which is not commonly recycled and should be placed in the waste bin'.
"Expanded polystyrene is sometimes used for take-away food containers and to package white goods like microwaves," they explain.
In another video, the part-time content creator also explained why 'crisp packets do not belong in your recycling bin' because they are made from a complex mix of plastics and aluminium.
"You're meant to take them to the supermarket and recycle them there, because it's a different type of plastic," he said.
"Just like carrier bags, just like film, bubble wrap - all that stuff does not go in your recycling. Take it to the tip, they can sometimes dispose of it there differently, or take it to a supermarket.
