If there's one business that has thrived in recent years, it would almost certainly have to be Uber.
Since it was founded in 2009, the technological taxi company has become a mainstay in nearly every city in the world, offering quick and easy journeys for people who need them.
It's not just the idea of having a fairly simple way home after a night out that's so appealing to people however, as more and more folks are signing up to become uber drivers.
Now, it's not just for people who love having conversations or love listening to their Satnav, as it seems as if you can make a decent whack so long as you have a taxi license and a car.

Although you have to obviously have your own car, and therefore pay for the various costs that come associated with that, it seems as if your take home pay is very respectable.

So much so, that some people are hoping that an Uber career can save them from bankruptcy or turn them into a millionaire, especially when it comes to other driving services such as Uber Eats.
One driver has now taken to YouTube to explain how much an Uber driver can expect to take home if they receive around $1300 (£1000) in fares.
Driver Matty said: "So, if you're doing a grand a month on Uber, you're banking 500 before the tax man. That's a more or less accurate guess. Andy, my accountant, has had two clients in this week, both of whom are earning over 80 grand in Liverpool.
"And they each profited around 45 grand from an 80 grand turnover. But both work seven days a week. Realistically, to get that money they're probably hitting 80 hours a week. They're doing seven 10 to 12 hours days 100 per cent. They're living in the car, but they make the money. Fair play to them."
Considering the average Uber trip is perhaps around £10, it seems as you'll have to do 100 journeys before you're making £500 of your own, which sounds like a lot of driving indeed.
It's interesting to see how the company might be compensating drivers right now as well, as they will have to pay for their own fuel, the price of which has massively soared as the war between the US and Iran rages on, with the Middle Eastern country seemingly unwilling to remove their blockade from the Strait of Hormuz.
So, if you're willing to spend your days sat inside a car driving people to destinations, and put the hard yards in while doing so, then it seems as if you can make some decent money as an Uber driver.
But considering the price of fuel right now, maybe now's not the best time to change to a career in the taxi industry.
