People will do anything to go viral these days. That's pretty much a given.

So when I saw this video on my newsfeed, I wasn't too horrified. However, at the same time I thought, 'this has to be fake, right?'

You've got to watch it to get what I mean, but the whole thing feels staged. It's like this woman was going to shave her head anyway, so she said to the hairdresser 'just completely fuck up my hair, and we'll go viral for it. Like, make it the worst haircut you can possibly think of and I'll pretend I love it for the online LOLs'.

At the same time, I'm so far removed from fashion I'm not entirely sure this look isn't some sort of trend that's passed me by. I literally haven't got a clue.

It has actually come from (what I assume) is a legitimate hairdresser's page. Maybe they just needed more Likes? Who knows.

I'm just waiting for the 'HA, GOTCHA' status.
