Suspected Car Thief Caught On McDonald's CCTV Ordering At The Drive-Thru

This suspected car thief made a grave error when he had a hankering for a burger.

The CCTV on the drive-thru caught a pretty good image of him which you can see below...

To be fair, this CCTV image is ridiculously good quality compared to the rubbish ones we usually see.

The police are now circulating the photo in order to track down the man. As you can see, he's in a blue Audi A3, apparently on cloned plates, at the drive-thru in Basildon's Festival Lesiure Park.

Funnily enough, police were actually already at the scene so attempted to stop the car. It sped off, before crashing into a metal pole in a disabled bay. According to Echo News, a pedestrian was almost knocked over and the two men in the car got out and ran off.

The Audi A3 is believed to have been stolen from London.
