An adult star has let slip about a huge industry secret that you’re not going to be able to ignore the next time you’re flying solo.
Porn isn’t exactly an open conversation most people have, so when it comes to the finer details, it’s easy to miss.
While there’s some things that are easy to see, like how the sexual relationships in porn are constructed in a way that plays into individual fantasies, dramatised...and enlarged.
Not only the plot - I mean, who is getting stuck in a washer? - but also the star’s bodies.

The adult industry is rife for including actors who have surgery to enhance certain aspects of their bodies. Faces, breasts, bums, tums...and then something a little more important to the storyline.
This is something adult actress Abella Danger shared on a recent episode of Barstool Sports' KFC Radio podcast, and once you know what it is, you won’t be able to ignore it.

Responding to a question about whether or not she's seen an actor with a broken penis, Danger recalled one particular performer who she'd seen sporting three different versions of his manhood on set. As you do.
The response, of course, left hosts Kevin Clancy and John Feitelberg curious to know exactly how one man could have three different penises, with the adult actress quick to divulge the industry secret.
"You guys don't know this? So many guys in porn have mechanical d***s," Danger explained, leaving the hosts, and most likely several listeners at home, speechless.
"After this I'm going to tell you which ones are mechanical," she teased.
How do penis implants work?
Explaining how they work, the actress said that the mechanical aspect is activated by squeezing the testicles, which then causes an erection to occur.
Oh, the joys of scientific advancements.
"[They have] a metal rod inserted," a bewildered Clancy questioned, while Feitelberg asked: "It's always in?"
Not content with just explaining how a mechanical penis works, Danger went on to Google the adult actor in question and pulled up several images to show Clancy and Feitelberg. Just in case the initial description wasn't enough to hammer the idea home.

Perhaps even more shocking was Danger's explanation for learning about mechanical penises, to which she said: "The first time I heard about it... my friend in high school said his dad had gotten it. I don't know why he told me this."
Revealing what it's like to work with an actor who has a medically enhanced manhood, Danger added: "They look like a superhero, honestly it's like they're not even doing anything."
Why do people get penile implants?
According to the Cleveland Clinic, penile implants are becoming more common, with over 63,000 performed between 2005 and 2012.
With about 86 per cent of those procedures happening in the United States, the reason why people get them might not shock you. It's to keep sustained erections.
Some men experience erectile dysfunction or painful erections, which stops them from being able to either have an erection, or for it to last- so, with this inflated or semi erectile implant inside, they're able to go at it as they would have before they were struck down by the issue.
What are the risks of penile implants?
Well, it's not all sunshine and rainbows as you'd expect.
If something goes wrong, a person with an implant could expect to experience uncontrolled bleeding after the procedure, damage to their urethra, infection, excessive scar tissue, erosion of the skin, a displacement, mechanical failure, feeling as though the penis is shorter, and decreased blood flow to the head of the penis.
Many of these things require the removal or replacement of the implant if they occur.
It's risky business.
