British nan accidentally goes on Facebook live without realising

People have been left in stitches over a British nan not realising she'd ended up on a Facebook Live

People have been left in stitches over a British nan not realising she'd ended up on a Facebook Live.

Prepare to wet yourself with laughter:

The older generations. They may be pretty out of touch, but it doesn't mean they can't offer a good old dose of humour.

They often frustrate the hell out of us when they shout around for the 'doodah' or when they hype themselves up into a frenzy about where they could have possibly left their glasses, when, as always, they are right on top of their head.

However, their use of - or rather inability to use - social media, can be a source of laughter, such as when this British grandma went effing and blinding - indeed very much blindly - accidentally onto a Facebook live.

This nan accidentally started a Facebook Live.

The caption to the TikTok - posted by a user called Millie - reads: "POV: Ur Nan can't work her phone and accidentally goes on Facebook live without noticing."

In an extremely northern accent, the grandma can be seen prodding and poking away at the screen, glasses secured on her face, but nevertheless, still completely clueless as to what she's doing.

She can be heard saying: "F**king hell. I've cocked it up again you stupid cow."

She continues to tap but alas, it is to no avail. As instead of getting off the Facebook Live, she simply ends up with a colourful ripped paper type of filter across the screen.

Rather than simply turning it on and off again - when will they learn? - she proceeds to violently tap the screen, which once again, does little to help.

Oh, and apparently one person did actually join the Facebook Live and got a front row seat to the commotion.

The grandma ends up adding a filter to her screen.

The video has since amassed over three million views and over half-a-million likes, with thousands of users having flocked to the comments in floods of laughter over the post.

One said: "I love old people."

"The fact that someone else joined the live shortly after she went live," another said.

A third shared their experiences with their own grandma: "This happened to my grandma and she put on a mustache and glasses filter."

"My grandma did this and it was a blank video of her eating soup and you could hear her slurping," another chimed.

A final viewer said: "It’s the violent tapping for me."
