Bruce Willis’s wife Emma Heming Willis has said that the options for those diagnosed with dementia, like her husband, are ‘slim’.
Emma, 44, has been open about life with Bruce since he first publicly disclosed his dementia diagnosis earlier this year.
In a recent update, the model and mum-of-two shared her thoughts after watching the documentary Little Empty Boxes, which centres on filmmaker Max Lugavere and his mother Kathy’s life with dementia.
After attending the screening, Emma took to Instagram to say: "Max chronicles his mother Kathy’s battle with dementia while he educates himself on everything he can do to help her.

"His love for his mother is powerful.
“His motivation to find answers from leading health experts is inspiring and then be so gracious to share that information is a true blessing.”
In a nod to her own life, Emma continued: “When you live the world of dementia you know that options are slim. But some won’t take that lying down which is how change is made and I got to witness the beauty in that last night.”
In response to her moving post, the filmmaker wrote: “You're a warrior and I'm so proud to be in this fight with you.”

She has previously spoken frankly about there being happy times and sad times, as the family come to terms with Bruce’s diagnosis.
In an emotional video on Bruce’s 68th birthday, Emma admitted that she was dealing with ‘times of sadness every day’ as well as ‘grief every day’.
She said: “So today is my husband’s birthday. I have started the morning by crying as you can see by my swollen eyes and snotty nose.
“I just think it’s important that you see all sides of this.

“I always get this message where people always tell me, ‘Oh you’re so strong. I don’t know how you do it.’ I’m not given a choice. I wish I was but I’m also raising two kids in this.
“Sometimes in our lives, we have to put our big girl panties on and get to it. And that’s what I’m doing.
“But I do have times of sadness, every day, grief every day, and I’m really feeling it today on his birthday.”
She went on: “As much as I do it for myself I do it for you because I know how much you love my husband… Don’t cry, Emma.
“But it means so much to me so thank you.”
